The label was launched in 2006. Fed up with the tired silhouettes and unimaginative styles of poorly made fetish fashions Lady Lucie’s aim was to create modern, elegant and high quality clothing, bringing haute couture principles to fetish high fashion. Lady Lucie is a mostly self-taught pattern cutter and craftswoman. Being of ‘Glamazonian’ proportions, regular clothing never fit properly and so Lady Lucie was forced to make her own clothing. With a love of the theatrical and pattern cutting skill Lady Lucie started making costume professionally for a Performing Arts Circus Company in 1999. It was a brief for a Moulin Rouge themed show that was to inspire a passion for burlesque costume. Fascinated by Victorian corsetry Lady Lucie begun researching and obsessionally making corsets, years of trial and error perfecting her method. Lady Lucie’s performance and dancewear experience was to come in handy when she was introduced to latex, learning how the material can be used to smooth, boost and shape the figure to perfection, Lady Lucie was instantly smitten. Lady Lucie further enhanced her knowledge and skill in this area by undertaking a BA in Fashion & Textiles.
Every Lady Lucie item is hand crafted in the U.K. to the very highest standard. Each luxury corset is made to order, taking many hours, using traditional methods and superior materials to create the desired hourglass shape whilst being strong, comfortable and durable. This demonstration of the Tesla High Voltage Corset was presented by Mistress Francesca and Master Virage as the highlight of The Baroness’ Royal Amusements, which kicked off the 2009 New York Fetish Marathon. The Tesla is a reinforced neoprene corset made for Laced & Locked by Contour Corsets (www.contourcorsets.com).
It contains over 300 embedded electrodes and is intended for use with a violet wand for high voltage electro play. The corset is locked and also has strong mounts for restraints as well. For this demonstration we also employed a TENS unit in addition to the violet wand and our model Karin Sin put on a very good show indeed. This is a very old picture from the german photographer Doris Kloster. It was part of her postcard booklet “Doris Kloster” from Taschenverlag and inspired me in my beginning of fetishism and bdsm. I always asked myself if the leather is hard and squeezes her into the dress or if it is a soft and nice leather.
However the breast cups are definetly made of hard leather, because no woman has breasts like balls. A very nice detail is the open bellybutton. It makes me very sad that there was never another photo of this photoshooting.
